Product Design Services
Product design services take a digital product from an unresolved idea to something people can use and engineering can ship. Biotik covers the whole arc — discovery, UX, UI, prototyping and a design system — with senior designers on the work from day one. We partner with startups and scale-ups across London, Tallinn and the wider EU.
Design isn’t decoration bolted on at the end. Done well, it’s how you decide what to build, de-risk it before you write code, and give your team a system to keep quality high as you grow.
What’s included
Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need, but the full range of product design work looks like this:
- Discovery & strategy — problem framing, user and market insight, the metric that matters
- UX & product design — flows, information architecture and interaction design
- UI & visual design — a considered, on-brand interface
- Prototyping — interactive prototypes to test before you build
- Design systems — components and tokens your engineers can build on
How we work
Two shapes cover most needs. A fixed-scope project takes a product from unresolved to buildable in roughly six to ten weeks. An embedded engagement puts our team inside yours for a set period, adding senior design capacity without a lengthy hire. Either way you work directly with the people doing the work — no pitch team, no handover to juniors.
The output is always something your team owns: files engineering can build from, decisions that hold under pressure, and a design system that keeps the tenth feature as considered as the first. When the priority is turning design into measurable growth, we pair this with UX/UI design for conversion. For mobile products specifically, see our app design work.
Who it’s for
- Founders who want a product designed properly before they build it
- Product teams who need senior design capacity, fast
- Scale-ups whose product has outgrown its original design
Not sure whether you need a full engagement or a targeted fix first? A UX audit is a low-commitment way to find the highest-impact problems and prioritise. And if you’re still comparing partners, our guide on how to choose a product design studio lays out what to look for.
