About Biotik

What is Biotik?

Biotik is an independent product design, brand and growth studio founded in 2019, with studios in Tallinn, Estonia and London, UK. We help founders and product teams across Europe with product and UX/UI design, brand identity, design systems and growth.

Where is Biotik based?

Biotik operates from two studios — Tallinn, Estonia and London, UK — and works with clients across the wider EU and Europe. The dual base gives clients UK-hours availability alongside the Baltics’ strong engineering and design culture.

How long has Biotik been operating?

Biotik has been designing and shipping digital products since 2019 — seven years. You can read more about the studio and the team’s background.

What services does Biotik offer?

Three connected practices: strategy (product and go-to-market), design (product, UX/UI, brand identity and design systems) and conversion (growth and optimisation). We deliver them end to end with one senior team, so nothing gets lost in the handover.

Do you work with startups or established companies?

Both. We support early founders finding their first product designer and product-market fit, as well as scale-ups rebuilding for their next stage of growth.

How do engagements work?

There are three common ways to work with us: Biotik Bolt, a monthly design partnership; an Accelerator for focused, time-boxed builds; and custom projects. If you are not sure which fits, tell us about your project and we will recommend one.

What is Biotik Bolt?

Biotik Bolt is a monthly design partnership for teams that need consistent, senior-level design work without hiring in-house — a simple, rolling way to get design shipped.

Working together

Who will I work with?

Senior people. We stay small on purpose so the people who win the work do the work — you will not be handed to a junior delivery team after the pitch.

Do you work remotely and across time zones?

Yes. We work with teams across the UK, the Baltics and the rest of Europe, and our London–Tallinn base means you get UK-hours availability in the same working day.

Do we own the work you produce?

Yes. You own the deliverables, and where we build a design system or documentation you own that too — ready to hand to any developer.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, we are happy to sign a mutual NDA before sharing anything sensitive. Just ask when you get in touch.

Getting started

How much does a project cost?

It depends on scope. Biotik Bolt runs as a monthly retainer, while projects are quoted against a clear, written scope. The fastest way to a number is to tell us what you are building.
